Inna and Ivan are a sweet couple that came to New York City on business; Ivan had to travel all over the US with his business partner getting work done before they headed back home to Russia. A few weeks before, they decided to elope in New York City on Valentines Day.
Honestly, I tried to talk them out that particular date, but it was the only one that worked with their schedules, so we headed to the Manhattan Marriage Bureau on one of their busiest days of the year. It actually wasn't so bad! The staff, anticipating long lines, had done a lot to prepare for the rush of romantics getting hitched on Valentines Day, and we were in and out in not a lot of time.
Inna wanted to get Starbucks because she the idea of having their names on the cups was romantic to her! After they got married at City Hall, we took a cab to Central Park and took their elopement photos at Bethesda Fountain and the surrounding area. It was their idea to scale the huge rock, and I will admit to being a little bit nervous about it. Thankfully, they did not fall.
