Their photo, taken on the cobblestone streets of DUMBO, Brooklyn, has become, I think THE iconic photo for Amber Marlow the photographer in 2016, but I never actually blogged this wedding from the spring. It got picked up right away by the Huffington Post; a few weeks later my friends over at Catalyst Wedding and Company ran a wonderful blog post of it, and then it was even in the New York Times (!) Now, on the last blog post of 2016, I'm ready to share it here, too. Obviously I was saving the best for last!
Kat (updo) and Lauren (hair down) are wonderful, warm people and I was thrilled to spend their wedding day with them. After a group first look at Jane's Carousel with the bridal party forming giggling human shields to keep them hidden until the last possible second, we took portraits around DUMBO. They followed it up with a ceremony in Brooklyn, and dancing all night!

With this post, I leave you until January. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and, of course (the really big one in our house) Happy New Year! If you want to keep up with me, I'm still going to be over on Instagram sharing photos, and I'll see you back in this space in January 2017.
