Some shots of friends, all from this year. I really love taking photos of people.

The variety of people who take advantage of my “blogger” headshot package is always so fun and exciting. Some of these are for dating, some are for business, some are just to have for social media platforms. If you need a little of both and want to take photos both in the studio and outside, there’s no extra charge.

I caught up with my pal Margit at BlogHer this year, and we did the teeniest and tiny of teeny-tiny photo sessions. She is glam, and I am lucky that I have friends who let me pose them against impromtu backdrops in the middle of crowded lobbies.

Some of the latest folks to come through my studio and take advantage of my increasingly popular 20-minute “blogger headshot” package. (If you show up as a husband-and-wife duo because you both happen to need headshots at the same time, I am totally going to make you snuggle in and take a few shots together, too.)

This doctor joked this might not be my most exciting project of the week, but honestly, I love faces. They’re so interesting to me, and probably why I work mostly in photography of people. Lighting subjects “just so” and getting back a crisp, clean image is so gratifying. I’m starting to sound a bit nerdy, hey?

This is among the first handful of head shots taken in my new studio in Park Slope. It’s a cozy, relaxed environment, and you should come have your photo taken here, too.

Some recent headshots of folks who took advantage of my “blogger headshot” special, including this very cool one up top – her company requested a black and white shot specifically. Super classy and fantastic.

Ariel is an author, business woman and friend of mine. She hired me to snap some life-style type headshots of her on her birthday. She’s gorgeous, right?! I’ve been slacking on the blog – these fun photos are a nice way to jump back into it.

Here are some of the folks that have taken advantage of my blogger headshot special. If you need simple, fun shots for your website, to use across social media platforms, or on a dating website, we can get together and make it happen! It’s $100 less than a full headshot session, and is just enough time to capture a good handful of really great shots. I have an in-studio backdrop now so we can do simple shots, and the garden just up the street offers a whole lot of different options in backgrounds (and gobs of lovely sunlight!)

My blogger headshot special was a smashing success, and I love-love-LOVED doing it! Everyone’s photo is so different based on their personalities and what they are being used for. Below are are a handful of the participants that took me up on this special offer.

And now some fun news: This was so successful and popular that I have decided to make a permanent offering!

Here’s what the special includes: a 20 minute headshot photo session in-studio (the outdoor shots you see here were taken either just outside my home or in Texas at SxSW for timing purposes. If you would like outdoor shots, we can shoot in my neighborhood for the same price). You receive four photos sized at 1000px via email. This is a size that is suitable for use online on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, your own personal website, or even a dating site! The whole package is $150.

If you would like to have a hi-resolution photo (sized 2000+ px, suitable for printing), you may purchase one for $30 each.

Oh, and a tiny secret… that photo on the left in the second-to-last pairing isn’t really a client, it’s my friend Tracy. I just love her a lot.

Textingly is a fun new start up with a staff of six really good looking guys. They hired me to take some fun shots of them in the office having a meeting, and then some individual headshots of each of them for their website. I was all over it.

This shot made me laugh!

I have it on good authority that at least one of these is also going to be used on an online dating site. Go get ‘em, guys!
