Amber Marlow is a wedding photographer based in New York. She specializes in weekend destination weddings in both the Hudson Valley and the Caribbean.
I became a photographer in the early 2000’s, starting with thrift store cameras and with cheap expired film, and my work reflects that artistic upbringing of grit and wonder, joyful imperfection, gentleness, and warmth. Couples turn to me when they value photography deeply AND would rather not turn their wedding into a production. (I love my colleges who are full-blown production people! I’m just not cut out for five cameras plus a drone.)
As of 2026, I’ve photographed roughly 300 couples - among them some of the most influential people in the world - in thirteen countries, lugging cameras (and good-natured assistants) through deserts, rainforests, jungles, and up the ancient steps of castles.
Beyond photography, my gift is the skill of being able to beautifully capture an exact moment in time, and the deep understanding - developed from sixteen years of working, twenty-five years of being a photographer, and forty-something years of living - of what that picture will mean to you years down the road.
Like my photos, my clients are unique, colorful, and full of soul. For the ones who get it, contact me here.
