Amber Marlow is wedding photographer in the a Hudson Valley. She was raised in New England, spent most of her adult life in New York City, and now lives in an old farmhouse in that she is restoring with her family.
She began her photography journey in the early 2000’s with expired film. Her work reflects an artistic upbringing of grit and wonder, joyful imperfection, gentleness, and warmth. She has photographed weddings on four continents, lugging cameras (and good-natured assistants) through deserts, rainforests, jungles, and up the ancient steps of castles.
Amber Marlow loves weddings - from ceremony to dance floor - and has photographed some of the world's most influential people in some of the planet's most amazing places. No ego, no pretense. Just the skill of being able to beautifully capture an exact moment in time, and the deep understanding - developed from sixteen years of working, twenty-five years of being a photographer, and forty-something years of living - of what that photo will mean to you years down the road.
