Amber Marlow is a New York-based wedding photographer specializing in weekend destination weddings. Her signature aesthetic blends editorial portraits with documentary moments to create a dynamic final album for her clients.
Amber Marlow is a wedding photographer in the Hudson Valley. She was raised in New England, spent most of her adult life in New York City, and now lives in a 120-year-old farmhouse that she is restoring with her family.
She began her photography journey in the early 2000’s with cheap expired film, and her work reflects that artistic upbringing of grit and wonder, joyful imperfection, gentleness, and warmth. She has photographed weddings on four continents, lugging cameras (and good-natured assistants) through deserts, rainforests, jungles, and up the ancient steps of castles.
Amber Marlow loves weddings and has photographed some of the world's most influential people in some of the planet's most amazing places. Her gift is the skill of being able to beautifully capture an exact moment in time, and the deep understanding - developed from sixteen years of working, twenty-five years of being a photographer, and forty-something years of living - of what that picture will mean to you years down the road.
Like her unique, colorful clients, these photos have soul. For the ones who get it, contact Amber here.
