R & M decided on a quiet December elopement for two in NYC. They wanted a romantic feel to their wedding day, and the late afternoon light gave us a soft golden glow over Bethesda Terrace. Our second stop was Brooklyn, where they had booked a hotel suite with a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline. There, I performed a ceremony for them, legally binding (I have the power vested in me!) while my assistant Edith, a photographer in her own right, took photos. We said goodnight to them as the sun went down.
